Oriented walk double covering and bidirectional double tracing

چکیده
An oriented walk double covering of a graph G is a set of oriented closed walks which, traversed successively, combined will have traced each edge of G once in each direction. A bidirectional double tracing of a graph G is an oriented walk double covering which consists of a single closed walk. A retracting in a closed walk is the immediate succession of an edge by its inverse. Every graph with minimum degree 2 has a retracting free oriented walk double covering and every connected graph has a bidirectional double tracing. The minimum number of closed walks in a retracting free oriented ∗This research was supported in part by the National Science Council of the Republic of China under grant NSC87-2115-110-004.

Combinatorial Bidirectional Path-Tracing for Efficient Hybrid CPU/GPU Rendering
This paper presents a reformulation of bidirectional path-tracing that adequately divides the algorithm into processes efficiently executed in parallel on both the CPU and the GPU. We thus benefit from high-level optimization techniques such as double buffering, batch processing, and asyncronous execution, as well as from the exploitation of most of the CPU, GPU, and memory bus capabilities. متن کاملOn the oriented perfect path double cover conjecture
An oriented perfect path double cover (OPPDC) of a graph $G$ is a collection of directed paths in the symmetric orientation $G_s$ of $G$ such that each arc of $G_s$ lies in exactly one of the paths and each vertex of $G$ appears just once as a beginning and just once as an end of a path. Maxov{'a} and Ne{v{s}}et{v{r}}il (Discrete Math. 276 (2004) 287-294) conjectured that ...
متن کاملA set-covering formulation for a drayage problem with single and double container loads
This paper addresses a drayage problem, which is motivated by the case study of a real carrier. Its trucks carry one or two containers from a port to importers and from exporters to the port. Since up to four customers can be served in each route, we propose a set-covering formulation for this problem where all possible routes are enumerated. This model can be efficiently solved to optimality b...
متن کاملThe Tangent Cones at Double points of Prym-Canonical Divisors of Curves of genus 7
Let η be a line bundle on a smooth curve X with η^2=0 such that π_η, the double covering induced by η is an etale morphism. Assume also that X_η be the Prym-canonical model of X associated to K_X.η and Q is a rank 4 quadric containing X_η. After stablishing the projective normality of the prym-canonical models of curves X with Clifford index 2, we obtain in this paper a sufficient condition for...
متن کاملSigned analogs of bipartite graphs 1
We characterize the edge-signed graphs in which every 'significant' positive closed walk (or combination of walks) has even length, under seven different criteria for significance, and also those edge-signed graphs whose double covering graph is bipartite. If the property of even length is generalized to positivity in a second edge signing, the characterizations generalize as well. We also char...
